Edamame is Japanese for immature green soy beans, and they are the only ingredients in this product besides water, giving this product its distinct green colouring. Edamame is a healthier option than regular wheat based pastas, as it is high in protein and dietary fibre, whilst being lower in fat, salts and carbohydrates. Edamame also contains naturally occurring vitamins and minerals from the soy beans, containing vitamins A and C, iron and calcium.
